Donna Voelk
Between being a military dependent and then a military officer, I have enjoyed a life enriched by diverse cultures and environments, from England, France, and Guam to various U.S. states, with a deep connection to the Upper Midwest. My students always find it interesting to learn that I love subzero temperatures!
I transitioned to a career in education in 1998, and have always taught at Plano Senior High School, inspiring students in AP Literature and Composition as well as English 4. Creative, curious, and a lifelong learner, I love fostering these qualities in my students. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, researching, and gardening.
