Mr. Matt Cone

A Plano graduate, I have taught at Plano since 1997. I currently teach American Studies (AMSTUD) and AP English III. In the summer, I serve as part of the leadership of the AP US history exam reading and teach Summer Institutes for AP Teachers.

I am proud to serve as the public address announcer for Lady Wildcat Basketball (since 2003), Wildcat Football (since 2008), and Wildcat Baseball (since 2023). I was also the voice of Wildcat Softball for 10 seasons.

Off campus, I work with young people in Scouting America.

Tutorial Schedule
