The journalism department offers several classes. Students enrolled in yearbook produce The Planonian, a full-color yearbook with more than 350 pages. Yearbook staff members also publish Spring Shots, a glossy supplement, at the end of the year.

Students enrolled in newspaper create The Wildcat Tales, a 16-page publication that appears about 10 times a year. View our online newspaper at wildcattales.com

Also students taking journalism learn the basics of reporting, writing, editing and layout. These class members also have opportunities to contribute to The Wildcat Tales student newspaper.
