Current Plano Senior Students

In accordance with Texas Education Agency guidelines, certified/official transcripts cannot be given to an individual. Certified/Official transcripts can only be sent directly from Plano ISD to an agency, business, college, or university. 

>> FULFILLMENT TIME: Allow up to two school days for processing of requests made to the Registrar’s Office. 

Official Transcript for Colleges / Universities

If you are a current Plano Senior High School senior, requesting an official transcript for a college or university, you must request your transcript through "SchooLinks".

• You can launch SchoolLinks from your ClassLink Portal

• Go to  SchoolLinks  and use the login with ClassLink option.

Official Transcript and Records to Another High School

For current/withdrawn Plano Senior High School students who are moving to a school outside of PISD, initiate a student’s withdrawal by contacting the student’s Assistant Principal and Secretary using the information here: https://pshs.pisd.edu/about-us/student-centers 

• Parents of students younger than 18 years: complete this Parent/Guardian Record Request Form and email it to pshs.studentrecords@pisd.edu 
• New school: use TREx or send a request to  pshs.studentrecords@pisd.edu

Unofficial (Personal) Transcript

Current Plano Senior High School students needing a copy of their unofficial transcript can:

• download from SchooLinks: click here for directions
• download from Skyward’s Family or Student Access
• use the online request form: Transcript Request Form
• visit the Registrar’s Office in Building H (2832 Parkhaven Dr., Plano, TX 75075). Photo ID is required.

Scholarship Transcript

Current Plano Senior students requesting an official transcript for a scholarship can use the online request form: Scholarship Request Form

Former PSHS Students (including recent grads)

>> IMPORTANT: Once a graduate has turned 18 years of age or is in a post-secondary setting, the parent may not request records of any kind. The Federal Law will allow us to accept a parent's signature in lieu of the student only when that parent brings in the most current 1040 tax form showing that the student is still a dependent for tax purposes. 

Alumni from the previous 2 graduating classes (including recent grads)

Transcripts for graduated students must be requested by the graduate.

• Official transcript: request using Parchment 
• Unofficial (personal) transcript: request using Record Request Form
• Other records:  Record Request Form

Alumni from older graduating classes

Records for graduated students must be requested by the graduate.

Only records from the previous 2 graduating classes are kept on campus. All other record requests must be processed by the PISD Records Management Department.

>> IMPORTANT: Be sure to include your graduation year. You will be asked to provide the correct email or mailing address for submissions to a college or university. Allow up to 10 school days for processing by the PISD Records Management Department.

Students Withdrawing or Transferring

Students cannot be enrolled in two schools simultaneously. Students must be withdrawn from Plano Senior High School before being enrolled at a new school.

To request that student records be sent to a new, public school within Texas, please ask the new school to request the records via TREx. To request that student records be sent to any other school, please ask the new school to make the request by emailing  pshs.studentrecords@pisd.edu

Change of Address

Only these documents are acceptable for providing proof of residency:

• Gas, water, electric bill, or lease in the parent or legal guardian's name.  

Document requirements:

• We cannot accept screenshots or photos. 
• Must be current (within 30 days).
• A lease agreement must be signed by the renter and the leasing representative or landlord. Electronic signatures are acceptable. 
• Utility bills must show the address where the services are utilized (not the mailing address).

These verifications are processed by the Plano Independent School District’s Records Management Department.  Please allow up to 10 business days.

Diplomas

Diplomas for all graduates are available in the reception area of Building H during regular office hours. (2832 Parkhaven Dr., Plano, TX 75075)

>> IMPORTANT: Students must be the one to pick up the diploma. Graduates must show a picture ID and sign for the diploma. If a parent is picking up the diploma, the parent must have written permission (that includes the name of the person picking up the diploma) from the student and show a picture ID.  

Replacement Diplomas

Requests for a replacement diploma must be made by the graduate. Jostens fulfills replacement diploma requests on behalf of Plano Senior High School. Email the following information to pshs.studentrecords@pisd.edu

• Graduate’s full legal name at time of graduation
• Graduation year
• Graduate’s cell phone number
• Graduate’s email address
• Graduate’s mailing address

>> IMPORTANT: Jostens charges $35 and will collect credit card payment information after the Registrar submits your information. Jostens has a 7-10 day turnaround time. Expedited service is available for an additional $15.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the GPA and rank policy?

Beginning with the graduating class of 2023, Plano ISD no longer publishes class rank beyond the top 10 percent of each graduating class.

Transcripts of students in the top 10 percent will show their rank relative to the total class size.  Transcripts for the remaining 90 percent of students show only the Cumulative GPA.

The Cumulative GPA is weighted and on a 4.0 scale.  School Profile
